The Beauty of Manali Town in Himachal Pradesh

Written by: Sandeep Sinha - Scientific Poet of the 21st Century

You do not need to wait for the summer season only to enjoy the beauty of the Manali town, which is located in the state of Himachal Pradesh in the northern part of India. Usually, people book tourist  packages with travel companies that provide attractive deals covering airfare, accommodation, and sightseeing. Since students finish their examinations by the end of March, which also coincides with the spring season, tourist visit Manali in April, May, June, and July.

Manali is splendid in the winter months too. Around Christmas time, the town gets ample snowfall that envelops the beautiful pine trees standing tall and erect behind the line of restaurants and hotels on the mall road, which is the central or the main road in Manali town. You can walk the steep road and make way through the narrow lanes between the rural houses located on the ascent.

The air is fresh, whether you visit Manali in summer or winter. People from the northern plains of Delhi like to go to Manali to rejuvenate themselves. As the metropolitan cities are getting polluted due to the toxic fumes from factories and vehicles, Manali provides the much-needed respite to the people suffering from respiratory allergies.

A little farther from the mall road of Manali, you can visit the Sulfur spring in Vashishtha region having hot, mineral water, which is known to possess medicinal properties that cure skin problems.

There is a narrow bridge over the river Beas in Manali connecting the Manali with its mall road on one side and the Old Manali on the other side. It is a pleasant journey to trek the route from the mall road, through the bridge, and the upper regions of the Old Manali town.

You can also do paragliding in Manali near the Solang Valley. If you are a beginner, you can take the help of an instructor who shares the seat with you as you a 5-minute descent on the paraglider.

Manali is accessible by road, and there are tourist buses between Delhi and Manali to take you to the beautiful town of Manali.

Have a nice journey!
